A Month of Education and Career Exploration
This Fall 2020 semester we are excited to announce that we will be hosting what we’re calling, A Month of Education and Career Exploration Over three weeks we will have universities, employers, and other organizations participating in several virtual events through different virtual platforms such as ZOOM, Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, and Google Hangouts. Some of these events will be recorded and posted on our BYU–Hawaii, Career Services YouTube Channel for students to watch and learn more about the various opportunities available through these partner organizations.
Some of these organizations, from Hawaii, the US mainland, Asia, and the Pacific have already started setting up their events in Handshake! There are graduate programs, companies and organizations, Welfare and Self-Reliance Managers (WSRM’s) attending and participating in these events. This is a wonderful opportunity for students and alumni to learn about the many different educational and career options available to them through our BYU–Hawaii network. The main goal of these events is to help our students and alumni connect, network, and learn from professionals in the industries they wish to work or continue their professional studies. Participants can ask questions and join in the conversation to learn more about those participating organizations and leaders across the globe.
Make sure you are logged in to your BYU–Hawaii Handshake account and go to the Events tab to register for these events TODAY!!! If you are unable to find these events, please search in Handshake for BYU-Hawaii and all of the registered virtual events should appear.
***You will need to register ahead of time in order to participate in these virtual events. Please pay attention to the registration deadline of each of these individual events as each one is different.***
