BYU–Hawaii Student Employee Career Readiness Workshop

The BYU–Hawaii Student Employee Career Readiness Workshop is a workshop (paid work time) required for all BYU–Hawaii student employees. To fulfill this requirement, students only need to register for and attend one session.

  • On the Career Services homepage, select "Meet Your Peer Counselor," then scroll down to find your assigned Peer Counselor and schedule an appointment.
  • You can do an internship once you've completed at least 60 total credits and maintained a minimum 2.0 CGPA the semester before. See the Eligibility section on the Internships page for full requirements, including any department-specific ones.
  • Depending on your field of study, each resume can look different. Please refer to Resume Design and Style for guidelines and example templates.
  • Students must talk to the Student Insurance supervisor, Beth Martin before they start their internship.
